QUT CIP2 Launch

Excited to be part of the launch of the new Creative Industries Precinct launch of CIP2. Will be presenting a new collaborative work, Garden of Minuscule Delights, with awesome collaborators: Jared Donovan, Jon Roberts, Yanto Browning, John McCormick, and Andy Arthurs, with major support from QUT robotics club and Creative Industries faculty.

META
PhD Performance (examination)

META will be the final performance and exhibition event for my PhD research meta: discourses from dancers inside action machines. META forms a constellation of many mobile referential platforms. In both installation and performance I am attempting to weave together many strands of my research over the past 3 years and to bring forth concepts as samples of ideas I have experimented with and experienced across different platforms of my research practice. These concepts have been present in studio-based practice, in documentation processes, in conversations with other dancers, writings on my website, for conference papers, the exegesis, and within the thinking that takes place around, within and through all of these processes.

Composite Bodies and Posthuman Prototypes
in Contemporary Performing Arts

Heading off to Europe again this March with John McCormick and Kim Vincs. This time we will be presenting John's Artificial Intelligence Agent in the performance Emergence, as well as my solo metawhich riffs off my embodied knowledge gained through collaborating with John and Agent, and a panel discussion at the Composite Bodies and Posthuman Prototypes in Contemporary Performing Arts International Conference.
Particulalry looking forward to some of the sessions including: Repositioning the Human, Co-creations from the Non-human Perspectives, and Scoring Choreographic Knowledge.
